Super tasty, super friendly, great location! I have been a regular guest of the Brüstle family with my family since 2012.

Very personable host! Food and drink very good! In such difficult times I can only appeal to support such hardworking people ...

Wonderful view of the Belchen and the Widener Eck. Kiosk open for take-away food and drink. Tarte flambée is recommended.

Because of Corona, at least the hikers will be supplied via kiosk ... which was well received today :-)

I went to eat there with my wife yesterday, homemade bratwurst with brownies. I am sensitive to food additives and immediately vomited after the first bite of the bratwurst ... too much glutamate and additives, my stomach and esophagus couldn't take it. A shame for the sunny location.

A great mountain inn with a wonderful view, super nice hosts and very tasty food. Baden classics, but also seasonal dishes with many regional ingredients (for example local mushrooms!).

Great restaurant. Small menu and specialized in the essentials. The "Quadro-Teller" was awesome, the first in my life! Upon request, we were able to get a place with a great view. We'd love to come back!

Had ordered Alsatian sausage salad with fries, the portion was unfortunately not very large. The taste was very good.

Unfriendly , unwelcoming and very expensive (9 euros for a coffe and a piece of cake). Smelly toilets. I agree with other reviewer - staff chatty with German customers but bare minimum of communication with me.

Very nice service with a wonderful view. The food, there was once a big salad and a schnitzel plate, was justified for the price. We are happy to come back there.

One star due to the below reasons. I will never go back. 1. Waiter wasn’t friendly to us. He was friendly to all the Germans though. I did my best to speak in German (it’s not perfect but all other places understand me), not like I didn’t try and expected him to speak English. 2. Waiter opened umbrellas for all the Germans. Not us. We sat in the hot sun. Once he had opened umbrellas for everyone around us and excluded us, we decided to leave. 3. I hiked 17km to reach this place. I asked for the Weiner schnitzel which was on the specials board. Then the waiter told me they had run out of Weiner schnitzel. Poor form. Don’t have it on the board if you don’t have it. 4. The women’s bathroom was very smelly. The end. Do not recommend. There’s a nice view but zero experience.

Very friendly staff, a waitress who really enjoys her job and very tasty food. Tip: tarte flambée and Kaiserschmarrn. And you can spend the night cheaply (around 35-40 euros), beds are great. You just have to like the rooms with shared bathrooms - but there are also rooms with a private bathroom. You can also go hiking there.

These photographs are just taken by my cell phone for sharing at google maps, you could imagine what I took with my Canon 1D mark 3. I would like to recommended this simple and nice staying place specially for nature photographer.

The highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg. Lovely views getting there and back.

The family have just taken over the place. Food was well prepared but nothing exceptional. Still a bit untidy and in need of developing an identity either in respect to the food or to the location. It has one of the best views I have seen in a long time, but the restaurant are lazily cashing in on existing beauty and not yet adding anything themselves. Will go back next year and see what they have done with the place
